We at BAIER combine high-quality design with economical decoration. Surface enhancement by hot stamping gives your products an incomparable attractiveness: The variety of looks ranges from monochrome and metallic gloss to brushed designs or chrome look. You can put aesthetic accents on all your components.
The hot stamping process is extremely durable, precise, economical and sustainable. Specific pre- and post-treatment of the hot-stamped parts is not necessary and further processing of the components is therefore possible directly afterwards. As process innovation and automation progresses, you can also benefit from reduced energy consumption and traceability.
For hot stamping, you need exactly three components: Stamping foil, stamping die and machine. These must be precisely matched to each other in order to be able to apply the decor to your product with sharp edges and without flaws. Stamping temperature, time and force are decisive for the quality of the finishing.
Each application needs its own hot stamping foil and stamp, which is produced according to your design specifications. In classic hot stamping, the foil is first placed on a substrate. A heated stamp then transfers the design to the substrate under pressure.
Our BAIER specialists from the mechanical engineering department will support you with customised hot stamping machines for surface enhancement. Depending on the application specification, we develop individual machines that can be optimally integrated in existing or new production processes. Product-related parameters such as pressure, contact time and stamping temperature can be precisely adjusted and kept stable.
A hot stamping foil gives a product its decorative pattern. Correct placement and subsequent temperature-pressure regulation are crucial for the entire enhancement process. For the design, we work hand in hand with LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG and draw on their extensive product portfolio. The development of new motifs, e.g. in your company's own corporate design, is also possible for the foil specialist.
The hot stamping die is one of the two design generating components of hot stamping. It is matched to the product and determines the size and structure of the decoration. This is complemented by the workpiece holder, which positions the embossed part correctly. Together, they form the basic unit of the finishing process: the so-called tool. Our sister company hinderer + mühlich manufactures these embossing tools specially for BAIER.
BAIER brings the components machine, tool and foil together in an optimal way.
